DM100 problems

Ok, thank you.

Is it normal for the device's body to be ungrounded? Periodically, when I touch the device, static electricity interrupts playback, or the screen goes blank, or even causes the device to freeze and reboot.

I’ve received your feedback and will pass it on to the engineering team. We’ll optimize the chassis in future updates and add support for the M.2 NVMe 2280 PCIe 3.0 interface.

Regarding the issue you mentioned, could you record a video? We haven’t received any other reports of this problem so far.

I don't understand, does DM 100 support nvme 2280 NOW or not. I've already ordered the drive kingston SSD NV3 500 Gb M.2 PCI-E 4.0 (SNV3S/500G)
Will it work with DM100???

Yes, these cards are backward compatible.

Can you tell me if there's a way to create a playlist on my computer and play it on the DM100?

The problem is that I can't create a playlist that suits my needs. My media library is organized as folders in the structure "artist name\album name\track name" format. Sequential playback on DM100 only plays within the artist's folder and doesn't advance to the next artist. Creating a playlist through the DM100 interface takes a very long time, as the interface only allows adding one album at a time. I tried creating a playlist on my computer, but DM100 doesn't accept this format. What should I do in this situation? Ideally, you could add the ability to sequentially play all folders at the disk, or go up to two levels at list. Or perhaps some kind of playlist import/export tool.

Is this normal? The ground terminal isn't connected to anything at all! At least according to safety standards, the metal casing of household appliances is always grounded!

It can definitely play albums in order. All you need to do is create a new category for your albums, add them to it in order, and then select “Play Albums in Order” as the playback mode. It will play all the songs in that album and then continue playing the songs from the next album.

If you play by artist, that won’t work, because when you select an artist, you can only choose the current artist—it won’t switch to other artists. However, you can create a new category or playlist, then select “Play Albums in Order,” and it will play all the songs in that album before moving on to the next one.

Okay, we’ll pass this issue along, but there’s no need to worry—we’ve implemented safety protections in the power supply and motherboard.

OK, I've just installed AIMP media player. It fulfills my demands. Your player is impossible to use, it is some kind of alfa version. I have hundreds of artists and albums in my playlist, so it is impossible to organize them manually. Your player cannot work with folders and it cannot even work with multiple selections for creating playlists

As I said, DM100 sometimes stops playing for several seconds, when I touch it and a sparks goes from static electricity. I've to tried to make a video, but it is very unpredictable...

That’s great feedback. I’ll discuss the multi-select feature with our engineers to see if we can implement it.

It’s wonderful that you’ve found a player that meets your needs and satisfies your local music requirements. You might also want to try streaming services like Apple Music, Spotify, and Qobuz, which support high-bitrate output and offer excellent sound quality.

So far, I haven’t received any other user reports about the playback stopping for a few seconds, and I haven’t been able to reproduce the issue myself. Perhaps you could check your playback mode—whether it’s sequential playback, seamless playback, or another option—and try switching it to see if the problem persists. I haven’t encountered any static sparks either; I’m not sure if it’s related to the weather, but I can rub my hands together to generate static. I’ll test it again later.
