@Adrien Brody compared to Ampapa Q1 are there measurable differences since it also has two dac chips?
I would like to see virtual VU metered as a visualization.Hello everyone, this is the AIYIMA Product Development Team!
As our 10th Anniversary set series comes together, we are excited to officially introduce the finale of this series — the D20 DAC. This new product embodies years of our team’s audio R&D experience and pairs perfectly with T20 + A20, aiming to deliver a truly high-fidelity music experience.
Our Goal
As the grand finale of our 10th Anniversary set, the D20 not only showcases our technical expertise but is also designed to become a seamless part of your daily music enjoyment. Featuring dual DAC chips, it addresses the hesitation and confusion often faced when choosing a DAC—delivering two distinct sound signatures in a single device, providing a richer and more versatile listening experience.

Your feedback is very important to us — maybe your idea will be included in the next firmware update!
I’ve been closely following the 10th Anniversary series, and the D20 is the piece I've been waiting for to complete my stack! Seeing it alongside the A20 Balanced Amplifier and T20 Preamp shows just how far AIYIMA has come in creating a cohesive, high-performance ecosystem.
As an audiophile, I really appreciate that this stack isn't just about matching aesthetics, but about a fully balanced signal path from the XMOS XU316 stage through to the dual-chip decoding and into the balanced amplification of the A20. For my desktop listening—especially with high-res instrumental tracks—this level of separation and noise rejection is essential.
My question for the team: Since this is designed as a stack, does the D20 feature a 12V Trigger Out to allow for synchronized power-on with the A20? Also, will AIYIMA be offering a dedicated aluminum rack or stand specifically sized for the D20/A20/T20 trio to help with heat dissipation and desk organization? Can't wait to see this setup in person! #AIYIMA #D20 #A20 #HiFiStack #BalancedAudio
@AIYIMA Official
The inclusion of the XMOS XU316 is a major win for the D20. As an audiophile, I know that a rock-solid asynchronous USB interface is the heartbeat of any high-end digital chain.
My question for the AIYIMA team: Since the D20 features such a robust XMOS stage, will it support native DSD512 and PCM 768kHz playback? Also, can we expect a dedicated ASIO driver to truly maximize that XU316 performance on Windows? This looks like a spectacular finale to the 10th Anniversary series! #AIYIMA #D20 #XMOS #Audiophile #HiFi"
That would be nice for many users to fine tune the sound. In my case I'm using open-back headphones, which naturally has less bass. So adjusting frequency would be nice, but it has to be engineered right to not alter the rest of the frequency range...How would you feel about an active spectrum analyzer (EQ) that can adjust every channel / Frequency independently?
