I hope the sound does not come across as cold or light, or cynical. Most DACs sound that way. I would like the D20 to have a rich and warm sound quality. For the VU meter, I would like to see a unique AYIMA color scheme applied. For example, I would like it to have a distinctive AYIMA hue, such as the fluorescent colors of D'Agostino or the blue tones of McIntosh. As for the LCD screen, I would like the focus to be on convenience rather than flashiness. Thank you to the engineers for your hard work, and I am always rooting for you.

The d20, if it sounds as good as it looks I think we're in for a treat. I was just thinking that if it had onboard wifi capabilities that would make it so much easier to update, although I'm sure it wouldn't be difficult anyways. Just saying for those who don't have a home computer and just use a tablet or Chromebook.

I am really awaiting for this product as it is perfect to match with warm systems to add some detail (ESS chip), and bright systems to add some texture and smoothness (AKM chip).

First of all - more inputs. Two coax + two optical + one AES and one digital output (coax/optical).
Visualization - it should be fully calibrated Peak/RMS meter (IEC 61606:1997 standard). Not an eye candy feature but a real measering tool.

Innanzitutto, più ingressi. Due coassiali + due ottici + un AES e un'uscita digitale (coassiale/ottica).
Visualizzazione: dovrebbe trattarsi di un misuratore Peak/RMS completamente calibrato (secondo lo standard IEC 61606:1997). Non è una semplice funzione estetica, ma un vero e proprio strumento di misurazione

E' sicuro che non lo è, perché sarebbe eccellente

Llevo un tiempo esperando este lanzamiento para completar el kit del 10th aniversario. Me encanta la estética de la construcción que encaja perfectamente con el resto del conjunto, también los gráficos de los VUmeter que espero se mantengan actualizados y recibamos nuevos diseños en el futuro.
En cuanto a los chips (dual en este caso) son modelos de una calidad ya reconocida y una apuesta segura. Con calidad más que suficiente para mi biblioteca de música a 24bits/96khz, esto me asegura que no haya cuellos de botella en la configuración final del kit.
Aún no me queda claro cómo se resuelve la escucha para streaming. En mi caso uso TIDAL y no estoy seguro si el D20 me permite escuchar por streaming o, por el contrario, debería agregar un streamer externo al conjunto??

This device will be a pure DAC without a streamer. Bluetooth might be included, but it would not replace a streamer.
