  • What are your expectations for the A20 MONO design and features?
  • What are your thoughts on the VU meter?
Your feedback is very important — your ideas may be included in the next firmware update!

Looks good 👍
Design and components choice is very good.
VU meter does give it a vintage look.

Does it have internal power supply or external?
Does it have auto power on/off or triggered in/out?

Looking forward to more information and full pictures.

1.HPF should adjustable from 60 ro 120 Hz, the fixed 80hz is too High for same system.
2.The gain control can be bypass or just skip this function.
3.The UV meter has dimmer function.
4. If the UV meters likes Mcintosh style, I will have a pair of it.

This looks great, but I already have my T20 driving a pair of Fosi V3 Monos, apart from the op amp I can’t see a difference in the specs really? You are quoting the usual ridiculously high distortion to get massive watts, but in real use what would you actually get into 8ohms? Looks great, but so far looking at the specs I would say the world hardly needs another PFFB TPA3255 chip amp?

For me to decide to replace my A20 Stereo, and I'd gladly do so for two A20 Monos, I'd need to leave the option of an adjustable high-pass filter from 60Hz to 120Hz. So, no fixed high-pass filter. And in any case, everything the A20 Stereo has:
Interchangeable op-amps
Subwoofer output
Gain for RCA
XLR
At this point, I'll buy them. I'm satisfied with the A20 and the T20.

Maravilhoso! Amei tudo. Parabéns para a equipe de design.
Comprarei quando eu tiver condições financeiras.

Hello. It utilizes an external power supply, supports power-on/off via a trigger signal, and features an automatic standby function.

Given that both independent mono amplifiers are equipped with adjustable HPFs, we anticipated that users might encounter issues—such as channel imbalance—during operation; therefore, we recommend utilizing a preamplifier to provide centralized control. The 80Hz setting was selected to accommodate the requirements of the majority of bookshelf speakers. The current gain settings offer two options: 19dB and 25dB, with 19dB set as the default.

We apologize that the color of the VU meters is not currently customizable. We have incorporated two 63V 3300μF Rubycon audio capacitors to effectively handle music with high dynamic range. Under an 8Ω load, the measured power output currently reaches 150W (at 1kHz, 10% THD+N).

Fixed 80Hz HPF for the main speakers is good.
Fidelity can be maximized and avoid annoying turning of an abstract crossover knob/pot and channel imbalance 👍🏻
just a on/off switch is needed

Subwoofer Out need to have XLR balanced.
Having another fixed 80Hz LPF switch selection is bonus.
For user to choose using full range/low passed signal to the sub, as some active/passive sub has bass management and some hasn’t.

I got the A20 (stereo) and initially I replaced the Op Amps with Sparkos but the sound was kind of hollow and the bass was boomy. Then I tried the Muses02 and the sound improved substantially, now the sound feels rich and the bass is snappy. I'm using a Fosi P4 preamp with a Burson V7 vivid Op Amp, I really like this preamp since it has tone controls and three inputs. I'd like to see Aiyima to include tone controls in their upcoming preamps and continue to offer the Op Amp replacement capability on amps and preamps. Overall, I'm very happy with the build and sound quality of Aiyima. I look foward to try new Aiyima products. Cheers!

  • Can you provide us with the gain switch stepping already @Adrien Brody ? Is it like 0db, -6dB, -12dB, or related?
  • Are the OPA1612 opamps sitting on DIP-8 adapters, so socketed and therefore replaceable?
Signal sensing (auto standby) is really nice to have, appreciated, while it should always be bypassable. - When listening to very quiet music with sensitive speakers connected almost all of these auto standy sensing circuits tend to fail and power off all too early.

Otherwise it's beautiful. I like the harmonious dimensions of the A70 case which as it seems have been maintained. Warm yellow-ish backlight is welcomed, too.

Hi, a question for the Aiyima staff:
I bought the T20 + A20 and when it comes out, I'll also get the D20.
Obviously, I'm tempted to swap my A20 for two A20 Monos.
However, I'm perplexed by the rounded edges like the A70, which aren't the same as the attractive X20 line (T20 + A20 + D20). I'm hoping for a revamp of the aesthetics and that it can also match the pre-T20 aesthetically. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks.

Currently, the RCA gain is set to two levels: 19 dB and 25 dB. Please note that the OPA1612 is a surface-mount component and therefore cannot be replaced. We are currently refining the design of the automatic standby feature to ensure that it does not inadvertently trigger when receiving low-level input signals.

Добрый день, так как для стерео нужно 2 А20 моно, то и блоков питания будет 2,я предлагаю смонтировать их в одном корпусе схожего дизайна с А20 моно, чтобы было красиво и удобно.

...схожего дизайна с А20 моно
I guess you meant "Stereo" or just A20 - and "моно" was just a typo... It's almost a finished product, 'guess they took the case from the A70 since for them it's more economical since they have that production line in place already and maybe have enough of pre-produced housing corpuses in stock. Prices for sourcing aluminium (alloy) unfortunately keep on skyrocketing. And there's folks out there who prefer placing mono blocks closer to speakers with a longer XLR connection then.
